Janie Marie Cunningham

Janie “Marie” Cunningham, 77, of Malvern passed away January 13, 2014. Janie was born October 6, 1936 in Hot Springs to Jeff and Lois Keeney. Marie retired from Benton Service Center where she provided loving care to all the clients she came into contact with.
Marie was very talented with sewing and crocheting. She made beautiful dolls with elaborate bead work. She was also a wonderful cook who loved to feed her family. Marie could grow anything and turn it into something beautiful. She took great pride in her flowers, garden and sewed love into all she made. Her greatest accomplishment, however, was taking care of her grandchildren who she loved with all she had.

Janie is predeceased by her parents; husband, Paul Cunningham; and daughter, Donella Mobley.

Janie is survived by three sons: Roger (Abby) Mobley of Shreveport, LA, Darion (Debbie) Mobley of Waskom, TX, and Tyrone “Ed” (Jan) Mobley of Bryant, AR; two daughters: Carmen (Bill) Taylor of Malvern, and Teri Lee Meisinheimer (Dr. Charlie Meisinheimer) of Harrison, AR; two sisters: Essie Keeney of LA, and Shirley Keeney of Mt. Pine, AR; two brothers: Alton Gordon and Paul Gordon, both of LA; six grandchildren: Bridgott (Dennis) Underwood of Malvern, Monique Honeycutt of Hot Springs, Brandon (Nancy) Mobley of Las Vegas, NV, Nelda (Larry) Hicks of Malvern, Pam Bowers of Waskom, TX, Lynn (Jimmy) Wright of Benton, AR; eleven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a large extended family and lots of friends that she loved dearly.

A private family memorial will be held.
